The Chilton's Manual said 0.015. That's exactly where's it's at! DeadHorse said 0.018.

That is the only thing I can say about the distributor on a chevy, I like the allen wrench way of setting points. I wonder if they did that cause the darn thing is clear in the back where short people can barely reach. The bad part is the dumping off the water off the hood right onto it.
