Re: throttle linkage

Before I got the lokar setup on my 69 Torino, i made a rod that went from the firewall pivot bar to the carb. It worked okay but my victor manifold is pretty high so it never did get full throttle. That shouldn't be a problem with your torker since its fairly low. I probably have a picture of the old setup somewhere, but like others said you shouldn't have to go the lokar route although i prefer the cable setup.

Oh and to clear things up, 69's didn't use a cable setup.
