I sent the block to be cleaned, bored, new cam bearings ect. for the build. As far as the machined lifter bosses I am at a loss. There was nothing machined other than the lifter bores. There are a couple tapped holes which appears to be something like a 1/4-20 in the lifter valley. I would assume as stated above that Ford wouldn't cast two sperate 5.0 blocks. I apreciate your help. If you think of anything else it would be greatly appreciated.
