Fidanza has introduced its 1.0 clutch (#381840) for Mustang owners who want a low cost performance alternative. The new offering is a complete clutch package that offers improved performance at a budget friendly price ($232.00 MSRP).
The 1.0 clutch is currently available for the 1986-1995 5.0L, 1996-1998 4.6L Cobra and 1996-2000 4.6L GT and has a holding capacity of up to 350 lbs.-ft. torque to the wheels.
The clutch assembly’s pressure plate is a high clamp load unit that produces 2,400 lbs. of clamping force (stock unit = 1,700 lbs.) while engagement remains stock-like and is easy on the leg. The clutch disc is organic with a full Marcel and sprung hub.
Also included in Fidanza’s 1.0 Mustang clutch package is a new throw-out bearing and pilot tool – making it a truly complete kit.
