Vacuum line questions

I am trying to to clean up the vacuum lines on my 89 motorhome with a 460. Back in 89 I think it had air pumps, fuel tank vents, carb fuel bowl vents,,,etc all connected. Now it is missing most of that and I want to clean up all the vacuum line connections. I guess I should connect the ported vacuum from the carb to the dist, and to the EGR valve with a coolant temperature controlled ported vacuum switch and a integral backpressure transducer valve (if I can find these). Main vacuum will go to the C-6 transmission's vacuum modulator and to the PCV thru another main vacuum connection. I guess I have to find the fuel tank vent and carbon canister as well as a purge valve (if I can find these as well). I also have a vacuum gauge mounted in the dash which I plan to reconnect. Last night I installed a new Holly carb (080570 {4150 570CFM}) and I can't get the idle down below 1000rpm so this is the driving force in cleaning up the vacuum lines.

Does anyone see anything else I need to address with the vacuum lines. I plan to check the carb out again and maybe reinstall the old 4160 carb (600cfm) and see if the idle returns to the 700rpm I had before the carb swap.
