Okay, here's what I've learned about this phenomenon. Since I have two tanks, fuel can be push from one to another if you have a bad tank selector valve. According to the parts man at the local Ford dealer it is a fairly common issue. There are two types of valves. A 3 port and a 6 port or I guess you could call it the $130.00 valve or the $190.00 valve. Most big blocks, according to the man, take a 3 port ( $130.00 ) valve. Now my question....
Anyone else dealt with this? If that valve is where I think it is ( mounted to the frame rail ), it looks like a bitch to change.
Any good sources for Genuine parts?
