ZephyrZ7 Ok this is my third motor in this car. I have never changed a HG on any of them I just swap out the motor. Only because my last tranny had a problem and it was a motor tranny combo.

If I buy the "Revised" or "Redesigned" HG from toyota is it going to hold up? While I'm in there and I have the heads off is there a company out there that makes aftermarket cams for my 3VZ?

Should I buy a custom set of Metal HGs from this COMETIC company?

Should I just get rid of it and cut my loses?

Should I put a 3.4 5vz?
