When I see a question posted that even Dfree can answer without feeding the squirrels, I ususlly leave it go for a few day's, and then I browse lightly and put in my two cents.

That's what a discussion is about. getting an answer.

The answer was, there's NO reason to perform a leakdown or a compression test on a motor you just built. If you believe there is a reason, just STOP building motors until your confident about it, then drive it like you just raped the Pope!
