Why Spend a bunch of Money / Time Hacking something when you can get a quality part for less............ It's not like the correct parts aren't avaliable or are way expensive. We are talking Well under $200 for a Scat Cast Crank Here.... If its not about money, then spend more doing the hack job.... That really make total sence to me.
