Most C4's assembled with dry gaskets and proper torques do not leak. Unless you have a damaged or warped sealing surface it should be fine with a fresh gasket and clean surfaces.

Yes i agree,all assembled dry , though i have been using a little sealer on the extension to case gasket for a while now as some seem to sweat a little there when sitting..
I use a little,very thin wipe, loctite ultra blue sealer on both sides of the gasket
