I made new clips from heavy pvc plastic (I cut up a cat litter bucket) small carriage bolts and gorilla glue adhesive... be sure to rough up the plastic and let the glue cure a good long while. Cut the plastic into those wierd trapezoid or parallelogram or whatever they are shapes making sure to include the rounded corners. 100% accuracy is not required but the closer you can get to the original shape the better off you'll be. Make sure the hole for your little carriage bolt is centered in the clip just like the roached pieces you take off the car. I made big ones for the door and front fender and little ones for the stainless spear along the rear quarter. Man, it seems like I made a million of those things by the time I was done but the price was right!
