Re: not starting when hot

is it turning over and not starting, or not turnig over? I don't know what fludding is, haha, but you may also want to take a good look at your starter. Old starters will sometimes work when they are cold, but then after using the engine for a while or turning it off and letting it sit, the starters "heat soak" and will refuse to start. Had this problem on a bronco once, new starter and heat shield fixed it.
