I agree completely, if the budget allows, go BBF. More airflow, more cid options, more parts nowadays. These guys talk in ridiculous power numbers and the cost of parts are not significantly more than a C. More than a 302? sure, but VERY affordable compared to the FEs I play with

Even a good headed street 460 would need a much more radical C build to run with it. Making the 460 more drivable and easy on the wallet for regular driving.

Thats doesnt mean the C wont be cool if the budget wont allow the swap, but with the heads available, the 385 series just cant be beat nowadays for power for dollar IMO
