I didn't want to speculate, but I think a good guess is the piston to valve clearance was not set properly. Perhaps it was a mistake in calculations or build. You probably got a tad of valve float during a burnout and that's all she wrote. I say that because you observed more than one stuck valves, which would seem to indicate multiple valve failures.
