on a manual trans car, it really depends on the torque curve of the engine, clutch setup, etc. On an automatic car, it's entirely possible to have a converter built with a very aggressive stator which multiplies torque a LOT, as much as 3-3.5:1. Once the car gets going on a sprag-type converter, the stator starts to freewheel, albeit slowly....how the converter acts/reacts to torque input can and will dictate the 60' times and wheel stand lengths. I've seen cars pull the wheels 2' up, straight out of the beam, and only carry them 10'. I've seen cars that leave flat, then you see some air under the tires once it starts building RPM. Mine--leaves flat, JUST lifts the left front when I shift to high, but sets it down pretty quickly. Probably only lifts an inch or so but becaues I'm already going 65-70 MPH, it carries it for a few feet. How far? Don't know...noone ever watches or videos when I run.
