Re: NHRA/IHRA fuel line mounting question

I had a buddy make the following changes and he gained 3 tenths in the 1/4... NO OTHER CHANGES.
His car is comparible to yours... a 1967 barracuda with a 400 running 11.7 to 11.4 with the change.
...From a carter mechanical like yours with stock 3/8th line to a Mallory 140 and -8an line.

I am a big believer in making sure you have enough fuel... I personally dont think the mechanicals can keep up... but I know there are others who think they do.

Did you have the tank in or out to weld that sump in? And what did you do with your sending unit???
