Swap over stuffs

I've got the 351C in the Falcon and waiting on the C4 and should hopefully be driving next week sometime. But a couple of questions:

1-I took the steering pump and bracket from the 289, modified the bracket slightly to fit it on the 351. The 289 has a smaller pulley so I was just going to get a smaller belt to go with it. This should be okay should it not? or am I missing something here?

2-I am on a bit of a budget at the moment and just want to get it road worthy so I can sell my current driver to help pay for this. I can't afford a new rad and nothing at the wreckers has the right dimensions. So I'm just going to leave the 289 rad in and make a custom bottom rad hose to go behind the fan for now. Will this rad be sufficient for a while or should I expect regular overheating issues?

Cheers
Kevin
