The real thing to consider is this: male ends can wear and so can female connectors, but I think actual liability on craftsman's part comes into play when the failure of either causes the female end to pop off, stay open/flowing high psi, and have the hose be whipping around hitting me in the face and denting my car. Could you agree? That is the kind of stuff that recalls are made of. I will be calling them this next week after I get an estimate and take some photos. At least I dont have to take photos of all my front teeth knocked out.
