Re: Swap over stuffs

Well the motor is a 351C, Edelbrock aluminum intake (came with the motor so not sure which model), 600cfm Edelbrock carb, Headman headers, 2.5inch x-pipe with Flowmasters, MSD coil and wires and will probably put in Pertronix as well. This will be my daily driver until the bad weather comes and I should be able to get a proper rad in a month or two. Still think the 289 rad is sufficient?
Also, the Edelbrock carb needs a rebuild so I installed the 4brl off the 289 onto the 351 until I'm done rebuilding the 6oocfm. I know less power will come as it isn't as large as the 600cfm and I know the 289 needs less fuel. But, the 289 comes with a 2brl stock so my theory is that the 4brl should put out enough fuel to match (or increase from) the stock 2brl for the 351C with 2V heads. Am I thinking right here? or am I way out to lunch on this theory?
