Guess I'm a young fart here... hehe..


I bought a 1979 Mustang in 1991 for $1,200.. 4 cylinder car, no air, red with red vinyl interior.

Wound up building a 302 for it along with a C4. Still the car had no air, and I think I drove it for 3 years with a blown head gasket as it would never hold the coolant. I also effectively killed the rare 6.75" rear end that came in the early 79 cars.

I got rid of it and bought an 88GT T-5, kept it about 10 years then got stupid and bought a Honda accord....

....several cars later I bought an 86 GT last year and just got it going again with a fresh 306.
