As for the Rambler comment, if you want to be different then drop in a 512ci stroker tall deck 401 because too many guys have already dropped in Hemis, SBCs, and EFI 5.0s into many a AMC. Heck if you really want to be different build a 67-72 2dr hardtop Ambassador or 71-73 2dr hardtop Matador (not the ugly 74+ Matador Coupe)....those cars are few and far between.

*Uh...I just googled the Ring Bros as I'd never heard of them. You see, I don't read mainstream hot rod mags or watch 'car' TV. The interest in curent trends just isn't there My reads are Old Skool Rodz and Car Culture Deluxe, occasionally R&C along with the oval track mags when they feature east coast dirt modified stuff. On the RB's site, I was faced with "billet"..Uggg!, hood hinges for over 600 bux (!) and one of the ugliest Mustangs that I've ever seen. Even though my best friend's last name is Foose, a distant relative who worked for Sam (a noted Kustomizer in his day) as a sand boy in the '80s, my tastes fall far from Chip's stuff. I like old cars which "seem" old built with homebrewed or junkyard parts that are a blast to drive. My taste run more toward Bellflower tips, Chrome reversed wheels with tires with plenty of sidewall, blue dots, tube grilles (or homemade) if I'm going to spend a few dollars.
Yeah, I'm a strange older broad but I've been rodding and racing since the late '60s. You ought to see what I just cut up for use as a a body on my modern DIRT modified...

When I get the panels fitted, I'll show everyone.
