I use a prepaid cell which charges me to send and receive text messages, so I've told everyone not to send me any.
Surprisingly, we're alike in some ways. NOBODY ever bought me a car. I got darn near a fulltime job in HS, saved my pennies and bought my own. I've worked on cars since I was just a little twerp and learned 99% of my skills by doing or having an older person occasionally showing me a trick or two. I don't care about the ricer culture (Kids doing anything mechanical is cool) other than the fact that these kids are building cars that weren't manufactured by American owned car companies.
See, at least with me there aren't as many misconceptions as you might've thought.

I don't typically notice usernames :p
I can respect guys who can take a car and modify it to make it look cooler, go faster, etc.
I can't respect this, or anyone who even thinks for a second it's in good taste
etc etc, ad nauseum. what's even worse are the incredibly annoying fart can exhausts they put on the cars, and THEN they have the nerve to think they're fast. probably because they're just ignorant and have never been in a vehicle that actually IS fast, and can only compare their cars to...their cars, but it still grinds my gears when I hear these idiots racing down the main boulevard every weekend night, and see stories of them crashing and hurting/killing innocent people. sure, people do that in sports cars too, but around here it's 10000x worse with ricers.
and what's even WORSE is I drive an Integra. bone stock automatic, slow as hell, yet I still get retards trying to race me and cops harrassing me because I drive something the ricers drive
