Okay, maybe I am being overly simplistic about this, but to recreate the pictures on the page you linked to should not be incredible difficult...a decent paint shop should be able to do this with ease.

First, this is the pic of the Mexican Sprint/Mach 1:

So how hard is it to get a paint shop to enlarge a Mach 1 script like this,

and scale it up to a suitable size and make a mask of it and paint it on the quarters?
As for the rest of the paint job, it is a little difficult to see, but the back panel looks to be done like a standard American Mach 1 layout for 73. The rest of the paint job would just be a matter of laying out the lines to match the belt line and top of fender line with the paint crossing over the roof in what looks to be the same area as the vinyl tops on the 71-73 Mach 1's and then adding a pinstripe alongside it.

Now as for the interior, that may prove a little more tricky, but not undoable...you could probably find an upholstery shop that could modify a stock white interior and add the new panels into them, and the carpet, I am pretty sure you could find a vendor with a close match...seeing as you said you weren't looking to do it exactly as stock, no one without actually seeing a Mexican Sprint/Mach 1 would know the difference.

Again, like I said, maybe I am being overly simple with my ideas, but this doesn't really look like a difficult job for a paint shop (and shouldn't be too expensive if you did a lot of the prep work...heck, you could probably even do the masking yourself and maybe save a few bucks).

Or are you refering to the 72 GT-351 shown on the previous page of the link...that one would be easier at least from the paint scheme...standard hockey stick stripes and hood blackout with the custom GT-351 on the fenders:

Hardest part to recreat would be the door panels, but it could also be done I guess with a bit of effort

Anyhow, good luck on it...still think it is a great idea!
Mike
