Porting question

Hey guys! Like many others this is my very first time at porting heads. I am currently working on a set of C5AE heads off of a 289. So far I have remove material around all the walls of the intake runners. My question concerns the bowl area. When trying to open up the bowl, I was trying to get a spherical bit around the valve guide. At this point I realized that I was removing more material than I wanted too. This is when I notice four tiny little pin holes. I probed the pin holes and it felt like as soon as I inserted a pick it hit the wall behind the pin hole. I'm wondering if this is going to be and issue. I'm going to go take and post some pictures of the ports and the pin holes I am mentioning, and I would like to get some feedback from you guys about the progress.

Thanks
Christopher
