I've seen a couple of folks online who distill their own moonshine. IIRC, one guy was selling plans and recipe for a still that could whip up 30-40 gallons of fuel grade corn squeezins in a weekend.

If gas goes to $10/gallon then changing out the fuel hoses to something alcohol compatible and firing up a still sounds like fun. Heck, it just sounds like fun.

Then what I'd need is a few old wine casks so I can age some of the "extra" for a spell.
