While the "imports" own the high performance youth market, they owe some of their existance to the SVO mustang, Turbo Coupe, Conquest TSI and the Dodge Daytona. I absolutely hate working on any front wheel drive, but if MR.Carroll Shelby owns and drives a Dodge Daytona ( and he does ) you have to give it some respect. And for the guy who mentioned the small '84 LTD, my dad did an engine swap for an older teacher at my school on one of those cars. He pulled out the original small block (255?) and put in a '70 351W -- she drove it the first time in the rain, spun a little sideways at a stoplight, which scared her into selling the car! I've secretly wanted one ever since.
