I have the same problem only it was Ford that did it! All '92+ Grand Marquis' have 20gal tanks but '98+ have charcoal cannisters for emissions so they put longer filler necks in to help prevent overflow. That limits me to 19gal!

Now's your chance to take it out an put in a fuel cell.
