Most everyone here seems to be sharp on their favorite subject, but you did ask a few questions.
One thing I found was that the firewall really need to take a hit. It is flat tight with the original six in there. Whack-whack, whack.
There does not seem to be quite as much space between the spring towers as on the later models. If you are contemplating installing late model front suspension, then consider moving them apart a bit more or get rid of them.
Most of the 1960 Falcons had vacuum wipers. Begin looking for electric if you intend to license it for the street.
Take out the steering column, and remove the standard colum based hardware to transmission. Figure on installing floor mounted items then.
Mustang radiators fit just fine. Align you engine installation thoughts to aligning up with a common Mustan radiator too.
