65', 66' the orphans. Ha! I've seen only five 64's up here in 6 years..and three of them are mine. Hardtop, vert, 4 door parts car. Lots of 65' through 68' running around though. Granted most of them are high school kid cars and have 4 doors but there are a number of nice ones up here. I know the 65' and maybe the 66' had rusting frame issues and we used to gravel instead of salt the roads so that might me why there still seen around here.
Back to the post, a C-6 should cost you around $1200.00 add in a B&M shifter and some lokar stuff for the kickdown and you are in to the whole project for less than $2K. Not quite as fun as a 4 spd or 5 spd to play with but a good solid replacement for the crud-o-matic.
