No they weren't!

my Very first F-250 was BORN on November 1966, SOLD on December 24th 1966, it wa a 1967 F-25 camper special, 390 CI 4V.

Engien code is on the truck rating plate, Code S was the first truck 390 and was issued for the 1967 model. In 1968 it changed to Engine ID code H for the 390 and ONLY came in 2V.

The 360 did not hit trucks until 1968.

That's what I know from personal experience.
