here are some pics of the new steering wheel and tach. I got the tach from Trashline for twenty bucks and it works great. I had to build a bracket. I used a piece of shelf 90 degree angle stock and bent it into a U-type shape then mounted the tach on the column with a hose clamp. The hardware cost about 4 dollars plus the angle that I had in my junk drawer. I painted it (bracket)black to hide it in the car. The steering wheel is a Grant wheel. I picked that style cause it is the type that one would see in a speed shop in the 60's and 70's, a good classic type wheel. I am trying to keep mods limited to parts that were available in the cars lifetime.
