I am by no means a Ford expert and even less a Maverick expert but don't rule out what he claims just yet as it very well COULD be a dealer package car like stated. I have a 340 six pack 71 Dodge Demon GSS from Grand Spaulding Dodge, strictly a package car. There was a dealer in AZ who did something similar to Gremlins. What dealers did this sort of thing with Fords, Tasca? Anyone else? Until this guy posts pictures of the car and paperwork for you guys to decipher lets just hold out some hope that maybe something else rare may be discovered. ( I will add that by 1973 dealer modified cars were illegal and frowned upon so many were "speed shop modified" meaning the dealer set up someone else to do the work after the sale of the car).
