Just a real stupid question. What is the proper way (points) that one measures the width of a steel wheel. Is it from rim to rim, or from just inside point where the tire bead would sit? It has the Ford bolt pattern and has Ford markings (Company oval) on it.
I went to a Ford Only yard & I got plain steel rims that if measured from 'lip to lip' is 9". If measured from bead seat to seat it's about 8 1/2". I was looking for 15 x 8" steel wheels. Thanks
