I figured out my motor mount system. I welded 2 pieces of 1/4" thick wall pipe that will accept a 1/2" bolt to each side of the framerail and crossmember. Each piece is 1.5" long. I will then fab 2 triangular plates for each side to attach the actual motor mount to. There will be a section of pipe welded between the plates on the motor side not shown in the high tech MS Paint cgi rendering of the mount in the pic. This will allow me to lower the motor in and fab up the mounts and bolt in without too much grief. I think this system will work well.


Hoping to have the motor in within the next month or so.
