mild 460 build up.

0 deck is good. Seriously look at a set of flat-top pistons as well. No dish. I've seen 10.5:1 460's run 91 and have good power with no detonation. I've also personally had an 9.2:1 460 with KB hypereutetic pistons and D3 heads ping like a mother on 91! The KB just push the pin up, they still have a dish. Avoid that, go for true flat tops, 0 deck, work your D3's over, a good exhaust system and you're rollin'. If you go with a cam much bigger than a 268-ish, run rear gears that match. Long duration, big overlap cams and road gears don't mix. Good luck.
