351 Cleveland Versus Windsor

73 P, if your car came with the Cleveland mite as well use it for now it sure would be easyer than trying to find a Windsor and going threw it to get it to where U are now.Any way the 750 is fine right now I would say for some more pull threw 6000 to 65-6800-7000 1st. a Edelbrock Torker , a solid lifter cam is the next best Idea you had,and this is where U are going to need to pull the heads and machine them up for studs and guide plates ,try some nice roller rocker arms Crane , Harland-Shrap, or Crower if U like, that should give U the pulling past that 4500 flat spot!!!!We have a motor like this(open-chamber flat top .540"lift/224dur@.050 solid lifter Comp. Cam Cleveland in a 3250lb Mustang/4spd/4.57.1 gears off the trailer it runs 12.50s@110 and is still pulling threw the traps.Remember they made the Pantera w/ a 351-C becuase theres NO dout it makes MORE POWER !!!! Theres other stuff U can do put U most go into the bottow end (oil resistors Balance& Blueprint, gapless rings, polish the rpd beams etc..........) Hope this helped a little....OH almost forgot theres ROLLER cams too...solid or hdyr......TboltII
