Vic Jr. vrs tunnel ram

Ok now...

I pride myself with a flawless experience in tunnel ram applications. A tunnel ram will help alot over your current manifold design, but with a single carb set-up? No way! The runner length is and location with respect to the base of the carb hurts proper fuel distribution.

The best approach would be a Dual 660 set-up (I know I preach 660's!). These carbs are "excellent" for a small block at that RPM. Ensure that you get a set that have a 850 baseplate conversion which will waken up the response with that RPM band.

You will thank me tremendously with that combo. Otherwise look at a dual HP650 set-up which is a little more complicated with linkage, fuel lines, and proper positioning, but none-the-less another flawless set-up.

Good luck.
