Project 11.99

Well here goes...

As a lot of you know, I am a poor broke ass college student. I have a mach 1. I try to race it. I need tires, but cant afford 300 dollars for 2 slicks. I got some winston cup slicks for free, but found out they might not be very beneficial, but no one really knows. Here is my question now...when project 11.99 needed tires, you used a set of Mcreary dirt tires. I read it as these tires shaved .45 of the ET. question is what do you think would be more beneficial the winston cup slicks, or the mcreary tires? Thanks a lot guys!

Jeff,Please take my advice and that of others on here and USE those winston cup tires. They may not be the absolute right tires for drag racing but they do have a soft compound, alot softer than regular radials. They will do just fine for now .Not everyone has the money for dedicated drag slicks. So make do with what you have and go have a blast at the strip!!!
