roller lifter in non roller block

i know i can get roller lifters with a bar that will work in a non roller block however can i use the parts from a roller 5.0 ho with spider to work in my 351w stroker thanks[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

Yes you can but you have to use a special cam. The lifter bosses are not long enough for the roller lifters so you have to use a cam with a smaller base circle. It will work and cam companies sell them but you are stuck with running that type of cam. The grinds are limited.

If I understand your question,most cam manufactors have roller lifters (solid)for your application (non-roller block!).As for the 5.0 HO design (factory roller)lifter in your 351W block,I believe kits are available to install the "spider" bar other than HO blocks.
