Need help, need a spare tire

Have any of you needed a spare tire in the past? Hopefully someone has and can point me in the right direction.

Ideally I would like *gasp* a mini spare. Any idea what late model wheel patterns fit a 1970 Mustang? Is it as easy as finding a 80/90something Mustang in the junkyard and grabbing its spare?

I currently have custom wheels that came with the car so I would prefer not to buy another chrome wheel, just need something to get me to the next exit if I were to get a flat.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

A space saver spare from a Ranger or an Aerostar is just what the doctor ordered for ya, as long as ya have the 5 lug bolt pattern. I used to carry one for my 71 til I got a full size spare.

Yes I have a 5 lug pattern but in Chicago so I will find a local junkyard and grab one.

Thanks everyone.
