i've asked this b4 BUT,do converters drain back into the trans??Thats the reason the fluid is way over full when sitting for awhile.Is it normal,do they all do it,if not whats the problem/fix [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img]

Are you checking it at idle, while in park?

Mine does the same thing. It's fine when you check it idling but after it sets for a while (not running) the level goes way over full and it leaks.

The snout of the converter is above the pan and yes, after a few minutes/hours, the fluid above the snout will drain back into the pan. That is the reason the dipstick says to check in park or neutral at idle and warm.
