It's Alive!!!!!!!
Since I know alot are thinking about the EFI to Carb swap,I will give a list of what I did,keep in mind this is a drag only car,not a street runner so adjust your shopping list accordingly:
Gas Tank out,5 gal fuel cell in,5 gal aircraft aluminum.
New 3/8 aluminum fuel ine from Cell to front compartment with flare and compress fittings.
Removed the whole EFI harness in one piece and pulled it. removed computer also.
rewired the car for Carb,this was the easiest part as there are only maybe 5 wires to connect.
New Mac shorty headers,GT40P heads,electric fan,Edelbrock RPM air gap intake,new Comp pushrods,Crane 1.6 roller rockers,Ford Racing tall valve covers,MSD 6al and MSD Billets Dist.(remember to change the gear to steel)Hooley AED 650 racing carb,Moroso air cleaner 14",K&L air filter,Holley Blue Electric fuel pump and regulator,AED steel braided fuel lines from regulator to carb. locked out the advance in the distributor and set to 38 degrees with a hotwire cutoff switch to 6al box to help start,new Convertible motor mounts and alot of wires ties.......LOL There are a few minor things that i know i forgot but that is about the jist of it,bottom end is still stock so we'll see how she flies soon.If anyone wants a complete list of how to's on the swap,just email me and I'll send.....have fun [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
