Carb Recommendations
I am looking to upgrade my edelbrock 625 carb to something a bit more stout. I have tried the Holley Street Avenger 670, and it sucked badly. It created no power. I think it might have been broken, so I had it rejetted and flow-bench tested and it worked great. It also worked great on the test engine on the carb shops dyno. But just would not work on my car. I dunno.
Here is what I am looking for. The guidelines are specific. Here Goes:
I would like snappy throttle response with great top end power.
I would like it low-maintance, so I dont have to tinker with it every day or replace power valves every week.
It needes to have a choke, because it gets cold here in the winter.
It needs to come with or be able to get ford kick-down linkage.
Ok, so how makes one?
Thanks guys!
M.
