need camshaft help
I recently acquired a hyd.roller 5.0L motor that has an after market hyd.roller cam in it. I am trying to identify the manufactor of the camshaft. the following numbers were ingraved on the rear of the camshaft: WG5104 & 44-09-97 the following numbers were stamped on the rear: 149356 & 97A4P if anyone recognizes these numbers pleas let me know......Tony

Found the answer to my own question. The cam is a Wolverine/Blue racer WG5104. 270/278 gross duration, 216/224 @ .050, 523/544 valve lift. Any one have any experience with this cam?....Tony

That cam should be a good streetable cam that will make good HP with a good solid engine. By no means am I a cam expert, but the numbers are similar to cams I have run and made fast street cars with.
