Loose camber bolts

Hi all,

Had a wierd experience last weekend. I went around a corner a bit faster than usual and "creak bang" went something under the front. Turns out the left camber bolt had worked loose and I was a full negative camber. I checked the right one and it too was loose (not as far gone though).
Has anyone else had a similar experience??

ps. It's a 65 hardtop Mustang...

Loose camber bolts

I think the mustang is the same as a falcon .This is pretty common on a falcon with the stock type coarse threads..The fix is to go to aftermarket camber pins that come with a fine thread and that should be the end of the problem...

Loose camber bolts

I have had the strut rod bolts come mostly off my torino before, Its amazing what the torque spec for thoes is, tighteneing with a 1/2" driver isnt good enough, the spec is like around 70ft/lb's or something. I have a clunkity clunk on my passenger side, maybe thats what it is. I'd better check to make sure.
