Galaxie resources

I have experience in mustangs, but I havent worked on galaxies before. I have a friend who has a 63.5 and wants me to work on it. Where can i find info on this car for things like parts, upgrades, etc?

Galaxieclub.com has an annual membership of $30.00. It would be a good resource if you are looking to restore your Galaxie as they have parts resource, etc. The mailing list is OK.

LOVEfords.org has an excellent mailling list with many folks who live and breathe full-size Fords from the 50's and 60's. I would consult there first as it is free.

http://www.dearbornclassics.com is a good start for Galaxie parts. I have the latest Galaxie Club newsletter and could help you out with other vendors as there are several ads in the newsletter. Let me know specifically what you're looking for and I can see if there's anything listed in the newsletter.

i have yet to see the car but i was curious about swaps like the granada disc brake swap you can do on mustangs. any special things like that you can do with the galaxies? other than that i wanted to know parts sources. thanks

It'll help to know which parts you're interested in mainly because the parts resources all seem to have a specialty. Dearborn Classics sells disc conversion kits, I'm not sure for 63's, but they have them for several different years of Galaxies.
