C4 stuck to 289- HELP!

I have a C4 that is stuck to a 289 in a mustang. All of the bellhouseing bolts are off. The starter is off, and so is the tranny crossmember. All of the lines and linkage are unhooked too. the C4 wont seperate from the motor. Anyone have this happen before? Any tips? Kinda need to get it off soon!

Oh and the torque converter is unbolted.

I am a Dodge service tech, and in the last 15 years of wrenching I have only seen one transmissions that would not seperate from the block.... I was on a hoist and everything, I struggled to get that thing apart.... Ended up grabbing it by the tailshaft and rocking it back and forth with some grunt to it.... Finally got it apart and upon inspection there was some big time corrosion on the dowel pins... Could not beleive corrosion would hold it in there like that... I've pulled alot of transmissions out and have only had the one.... Might want to spray by the dowels with rust penatrating oil and let it sit overnight....

Got it off. I guess that Free All stuff really works. I pryed on it some more, and it moved a little, so I raised the jack up and down, pryed some more, and it came off. Billy was right, a dowel pin is still stuck to the bellhouseing.

So now I'll have to replace that. Do I just hit it home with a hammer? Will that be hard with the motor still in the car?
