Any C6 Tips?.......

I am wanting to get the most out on my C6 transmission and was wondering if anyone has any experience with the B&M Shift Improver Kit?

Alledgedly it is 3 kits in one.

Stage 1: RV/Heavy Duty use
Stage 2: Street/Strip use

When I drove the donor car before disassembly, the transmission seemed to shift ok, though not really distinctive.

Thanks guys!

Thanks Greg, that would be fantastic!

My knowledge is rather limited to say the least when it comes to the C6.

Thanks again!

I run the cheetta valvebody and I am very happy with it.Good firm shifts, not neck snappers but solid and fast.

I would recommend the Transgo 67-2 kit over the B+m shift improver kit. If you want to use Bm go with the Transpak and set it to street/strip mode. An R servo is also a nice way to help clean up the 2-3 flare. Always use a new main pressure regulator. The Transpak includes one for the early model C6s. If you dont use a Transpak you can use the Sonnax valve. This is the valve I use in my transmissions.

Is the Transgo Reprogramming Kit in the blue box the one you are talking about or does it say 67-2 on the box?

Thanks again.

My C6 tip is get a C4. I had a B&M transpak installed in mine and it didnt make that much of a difference. If its a street strip car a C4 is the only way to go. If you dont switch now,you will later.
