As long as you have a vacuum can on your car and the cam is not too large; you should not have to change anything. But if you must change it over, you should get everything from the brake pedel to the port. valve. When I converted my 1970 from manuel drum to power disc, I even got the front brake lines that go to the front brakes. The manuel brake pedel is mounted in a different spot under the dash. That is why you need the pedel. Good luck..

I've heard that some early 72-74 Mavericks had manual disc brakes and that the master cylinders will swap onto a Mustang for an easy mod.

Im pretty sure that brake rod hole placement is th same for both power and manual mustangs, so you should just be able to swap in a manual master cylinder. Be prepared to make new lines, but it should work. A master from a '74 maverick with manual brakes should work, you should be able to use the rod that comes with it too.

I put a 74 Maverick MC in mine when doing the Granada disk swap. Fit fine, but the pushrod was too long (pedal was way too high). I resolved this by using the '69 pushrod in the Maverick MC.

One other thing to consider: suposedly the PB brake pedal is different from the manual pedal, so you may need to round up another pedal. But that should be no problem.

My manual disks work great by the way.

If you already have power brakes why not just get the booster fixed? You can always run an extra little can to store up vacuum for the brakes.
