Beware the Dealer!

Check out this thread:

http://forums.mustangworks.com/showt...threadid=29134

A ford SVT tech decided to take a joyride in a customer's car, and posted about it on a public forum - where the owner saw it!

Way to get fired, dumbass!

Beware the Dealer!

Some moron did the same thing to my car, althogh I have no proof. I droped it off at the tranny shop that rebuilt my c-4 becuase was leaking, and when I got back, after he told me he took it for a test drive, I noticed that my take was 1/4 full, it was 1/2 when I droped it off. Why do you need to test drive it for a leak? 1/4 tank = Aprox 50-60 miles.

Beware the Dealer!

We had a '94 Cobra with a Vortec & 347, Twisted Wedge heads... the works. It ran some 10's. Took it in for a recall on the fan switch, one day repair. Went to get it & was told "It looks like something's broke. She's dumping water out the pipes". Little did they know I overheard the mechanic at a hot rod shop talking about seeing how fast this car would go blowing a head gasket, even let me have the tow bill! Car got a new engine, paint from the air hoses drug all over it, & he got his butt fired, THEN he was sued into the stone age & lost his Lightning! I don't trust them, never have, never will!

Beware the Dealer!

That thread really BLEW UP]

It is in fact all over the net. Every board from ricer to 4X4 to Lexus.

Guy was fired but the dealer turned their back on the customer.

Literally tens of thousands of reads all over the world. Just spent about an hour looking stuff over. Truly amazing.

Thanks NasalGoat for posting the link. What a story/nightmare. I noticed that thread alone had 200,353 views on it.

Yes it blew up like a thermo nuclear warhead. The knucklehead got what he deserved too. I bet the dealer changes his tune too.

Beware the Dealer!

If possible get a printout or computer link of the chat room conversation and what the "mechanics" did with your car.
Take that to the dealership and tell them you not only want them fired, the service manager fired but you also want a new car to replace your's. Since now you don't know what damage they've done to it, mechanicially. Or a new and complete full warranty on anything that breaks now, labor, parts, towing and rental car included.
Also send a letter to the district and head office of the Ford Company, with a copy to the dealership. Tell them if they don't like it, you'll just take a ad out in all the papers they advertise in for the next month, about what happened, and how anyone having their vehicle worked on there, should check their's out too. $$$$$$ will make them come around.
Where did this happen at? Tell them how you've already put the news out on several websites to other Ford people so they can take their business elsewhere.
